Hello, I’m Anna.
I’m an experienced therapist, BACP (Accred), a member of the EMDR Association & BUPA practioner, working both face to face and also trained to work online. I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment in Chailey and Hove, where we can work together towards healing and growth.
I have worked previously in the corporate world, am a trained Resilient Leadership Coach and have experienced being a parent. I bring all my life experiences alongside my rigorous and continuing therapeutic training to my work as a Therapist. I also practice in the voluntary sector, working with addiction therapy alongside work on PTSD, grief, depression, and anxiety.
I’m a fully Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and a member of the EMDR Association and I abide by their code of ethics in my work.
My home is in East Sussex, among the hills of the South Downs. The sense of calm that I get from being in such a beautiful place, and the peace that we can all find in nature, really informs my work.
If you would like to schedule an appointment, contact me so we can arrange a time to meet at one of my clinics in Hove or South Chailey.

Why Skylark?
For me personally, I discover a clear mind and a deeper connection with my sense of self and emotions most acutely when I’m deeply immersed in nature. When I qualified as a therapist I walked the South Downs Way as a form of retreat. I noticed and observed two Skylarks - I assume a different pair over the course of 100 miles - appearing repeatedly. I became curious about these fascinating little birds, their character, habitat and nature, and how I experienced a connection during the walk, so I decided to name my therapy practice in their honour.
